Hello! 

Dogwood Designs is a husband and wife (Cody & Jessica) owned business located out of New Albany, IN. We recently welcomed our son, Colten in July 2021 making us a family of 3.

Our goal is to bring you unique and customized home goods that are perfect for your own home and gift giving. 
Dogwood came about Christmas of 2019 by Cody creating one single Christmas tree in our one car garage with little to no tools after watching a Youtube video as a surprise Christmas decoration for the house. We posted it on FB to share how cute it was and before we knew it we had over 100 orders. 

 

Why the name "Dogwood" ? Well, if you were to talk to us in real life for a total of 5 minutes, I promise you will hear something to do with one of our two dogs. We have two golden dogs, Corby & Remy and they're spoiled rotten just as they deserve! So we only felt it was right to include them in our name somehow.

 

We both enjoyed creating and decided to open our shop, we've since created many furniture pieces, cutting boards, more Christmas trees, acquired LOTS more tools and many new skills. Through the few years we have found we best enjoy creating custom gifts and home decor. That special touch it adds to each piece creates something so special. 

We know first hand how special thought out gifts are, we got married Oct 3, 2021. We received several custom gifts and each and everyone of them stood out to us most, as it meant so much that the gifter put in the extra effort to have it created for us but it also is a special keepsake for our home that we cherish ourselves and love looking at day to day. 

A lot of our material come from local vendors, as we strive to support small local business and collab with them as much as it allows. We know first hand how much it means and hope to support as many small business owners dreams as possible. 

Being able to create that now ourselves has been so much fun. We enjoy working together and watching Dogwood grow each year, we appreciate every single customer who supports us. Dogwood is our dream job and we thrive every day to improve in all ways possible.
